November 1, 2010: Marathon Lausanne
Despite legs still sore from his victory in the marathon in Lausanne, Magali enjoys well-deserved rest after a busy 2010 season. Started in April, with 20km of Lausanne and triathlons including the French Grand Prix, European Championships (6th), the Sprint World Championship in Lausanne (13th) a world cup in Madrid she had to abandon a crash, it has been dedicated to running only on 30 August. After a 3rd place in Murten-Fribourg and victory on his first marathon, she could not start his new career as a best runner.
The time is now to review, analysis, and of course the rest. For Lausanne, Magali and her entourage were able to obtain information needed to plan future work to be able to reach high goals, but realistic: to qualify for the 2011 World Championships and possibly the Olympics in 2012 . It will recover 100% of this marathon in order, from Nov. 20, resume training, and this time with higher goals in terms of volume, km, in order to be able to go in the spring after the marathon without flinching .
time 2:54 ET rather average, but still within the range that had given Magali before the race between 2:55 a.m. 2:45 a.m. ET. Until the 25th km, it was still in a time of 2:46. But, already a little hard since the half-turn, rising out of Vevey has not forgiven from there, his pace has dropped significantly. But with clenched teeth very strong, it resists the return of its competitors, it had distanced enough from the 15th and 25th miles, to clinch the first marathon of his career.
"At the end of Vevey, I could more. And I said:" It is not possible, I have to make Morat-Fribourg! (17.2 km). "And here we must stop thinking, I followed advice I was given, looking ahead to 3m, evacuate, move on. On several occasions I have expressed of my suffering to my coach and my husband Peter. At one point I thought that the girls would return, but the threat came close enough to the finish (3-4km) and there I found again resources to accelerate. The goal for the next is to push that threshold and keep up the pace without suffering at least 35km. I now have more guidance to get there. "
