Recovery
110km After my week 3, I finally got right, Thursday and Sunday at 2 day without running. With 80km, I really successfully recovered, because my legs hurt even at rest. To close this first cycle of 2011, I still made a nice series, Wednesday, 25 x 400. Not very fast, 1'19, 2'30 departure, but with persistent muscle pain for ten days and fragile hamstrings and the limit of breakdown for 3 weeks, it was a mental feat (also c ' is like how I worked for years). And physical, because not only all held, but Thursday I was already almost a good feeling. Here I say 1) thank you to the World Cycling Centre which gives me access to infrastructure, because I conducted this session on the track within 256m, a good 15 degrees, and 2) thank you to my coach Peter because he still managed to motivate me to do this kind of meeting. But here I must also say that we must remove a maximum of neurons, especially at first, not thinking too much and think about where I was in pain (well after we should not forget to re-connect, it does that there is no sport in life ...).

Sport and the "other life"
After "Focus" on Sunday night TSR1 is to News round-SME (http://www.actu-pme.ch) published an article on the conversion of elite athletes. Certainly, this issue concerns the media. However, it is primarily in life to try to be happy and to fend for a living. If sport has become a profession for some, is a way, why not? As if the athletes, who must be exemplary in many ways, were not allowed to change his mind? The elite athlete is often nothing more than a passion for sports, his talent level or drove under the spotlight. Thus his results and his moods are the thank you public. The public who "owns" the champions and allows the judge .... taken too early retirement, paternity bad performance, a divorce too premature, a ridiculous comeback, not strong enough, etc., etc.. AND THEN? I always remember one evening in August 2006, entering my car just after finishing 11th in Triathlon World Championships, I fall on the peak of a new sports radio Lausanne, and I hear: " This 11th place at the world championships is it for Magali Di Marco, mean the end of their careers? " ..... I
flabbergasted! Since I returned to competition in 2004, I did not order to hear: "But eventually you'll stop when, for good?"
Today I am happy with my choice, I do not regret my compromise, which allowed me to be fulfilled in many ways. At each one to find his way, the trick is not to feel embittered.

Syphilis Short-term Symptoms
The January cold: hard, hard!
Here, a first cycle ends with a week 110km, which has not been easy on the muscle. This cold of January is very painful to the muscles, joints and morale. But ultimately, managing some pain and contractures suspicious (and normal) early this week, I could almost follow the provided planning, apart from the cross Berne on which I made a cross, not to tempt fate. And I do not regret that decision because the pain disappeared suspicious.
Nevertheless I look forward to a slight increase in temperature. And even if the scenery is beautiful, this cold is wearing for the runners!

Cross de Vidy:
was spring yesterday in Lausanne: beautiful weather, 12 degrees. The conditions were almost too perfect. What fun to get back in shorts and not feel the slightest tremor in go! I almost forgot my aches and a lack of energy due to a week of training which slightly exceeded 100km.
As for the race, there was nothing special to report. Many "young" at the outset, Swiss and German U23. For my part I'm content with 11th place, 25''of the 5th and 1 'of the 1st. The tempo was never very high from the start but I gradually lost some ground, unable to leave quickly. But I am satisfied with this season. I finally feel 100% of my ability after influenza illness at the end of the year.

After 1 month without racing is the season which takes cross. Traditionally, each year I participate in some cross in winter. The cross is a very hard discipline, allowing one hand to work the pace of competition, but also to forge the mind in preparation for road races. It is rare to have good conditions for running on the cross. Season requires, it is often cold, the terrain is mostly wet or snowy short, we drool! But as for cyclocross, cycling is an excellent learning.
I will be in Vidy this Saturday at the Cross as the Berne 22.1. These 2 events are included in a training program rather busy and will act as quick meeting.

Wildlife I
Training is not always synonymous with transcendence, quest for performance and objective. There are also, particularly in running, much of nature discovery and healing. For years, I marvel that almost daily discovering what nature creates and modifies around us. I will share with you now sometimes small stories about wildlife that I observe when I train.
This morning at dawn, during a jog on an empty stomach is the return of beavers (or rather their tracks) along the Rhone, which pleased me. And this, 2 steps from the industrial area of Monthey, and a few hundred yards from the refinery and Satom Collombey! Which runs me almost daily in the corner, I notice easily trunks whose bark is freshly cut their teeth! I wonder where they hide cons because they are said to be almost impossible to see (they only come out at night). And I doubt they succeed, or rather, let them make a dam Rhone here .... But their discreet but visible rejoice! Although the photo, it is a trunk of at least 30cm in diameter, issue discretion, we can do better!

This year I am not sure about playing again impatiens. It's exhausting. There is probably something to learn from indolence. Is it possible to decide so that we can be where we are condemned to return to infinity the same roles? We certainly have a tendency to be overtaken by our nature but with a little training and vigilance, it should be possible to deal firstly with our runaway and also with the social pressure that we would like hyperactive (l the impatient is a hyper-adapted). beginning of this year is rather difficult. Seized from the 30, I dragged myself, I felt like I wake up every morning with a cooked. But after three days without running, it has been regaining some of the service. On Thursday I got to my first session VMA 2011, 16 x 300m exercised at Colombier with my sister, I enjoyed when it came to finishing the last 4 and, having finished its series, and it ran beside me for the last 100. It was one of those weather that turns a simple training feat. Besides, we left our children for 1:15 in the car, we would feel guilty of forcing them out! Rain, wind at 60km / h, and whether you like it or not, on a 300, you the have necessarily opposite to at least 100m! It has tried to make the wind at your back, but impossible. So I chose to put the wind in the last 100, where it really hurts, just to further strengthen our minds a bit. The times were not impressive, but we will be content for a first and in these conditions.

Hello and Happy New Year to all!
As promised I start now and will share my results personally and a few anecdotes about my adventures of neo-marathoner.
In January 2, after unzipping a few days with family, especially on the slopes of the Portes du Soleil, I care a little flu that forced him to have me leave the sneakers in the closet for 3 days. Tomorrow I resume training and will have to hang it because it is time to significantly increase mileage. Since I spend the winter in Troistorrents, the cold will be a further challenge to support the loads important training. The marathon is now close to Zurich, and in each session my mind is focused on this goal. He is then to find the balance between pushing the body as far as possible while remaining healthy. That's probably what I missed the end of this year, I just assumed my strength and flu forced me to rest which I definitely need.
